Coming from India, the land of yogis and birth place of Medi Yoga, my passion is healing people through Medi Yoga. The styles incorporated in it include: Karma, Gyana, Bhakti, Hatha and Bandha Kriya yoga, and Mudras. Medi Yoga also combines traditional yoga asanas, deep peace meditation, acupressure, localized shiatsu massage, breathing techniques, naturopathic oils and spirituality to heal physic
al, psychological, emotional and spiritual ailments. I was born in Braj Pradesh, India, the playground of Lord Krishna, who was the greatest yogi and from age ten I began training with yogis of the land. In 1976, I received a Doctorate in Science: Anatomy and Physiology from the Univeristy of Dehli. In 2010, I received an Honorary Degree from Chaitanya Foundation, New Delhi. In 2012, I was declared a Yoga Professional under the aegis of Bihar School of Yoga, New Delhi. My practice, teaching and learning spans across four decades, and continues today. Practitioners utilise my classes to learn theoretical aspects, the origin of postures, mantras, techniques and terminology (from Sanskrit literature) to foster a deeper understanding of their craft. However, and most importantly, I treat those with ailments caused by unhealthy lifestyles or external, environmental factors. I treat those who experience pain, back pain, arthritis, breathing problems, migraines, mental affliction, gradual loss of hearing, loss of hair (alopecia), parched and scaly skin. Also, tonsillitis or sore throat, loss of eye sight, sciatica, numbness, shaky hands etc and those who simply need to rejoin the connection between body and mind.
