Today, 25th July is World Embryology Day and marks the day in 1978 when the world’s first IVF baby, Louise Joy Brown, was born. The science has come a long way since that day and it is days like today which remind us to celebrate the significant scientific advancements, the success we have achieved and the hard work undertaken by our teams of skilled embryologists to get there. Embryologists work tirelessly behind the scenes in the Adora labs to ensure that every patient is given the best opportunity to become a parent. Performing all the skilled scientific processes involved in fertility treatment such as egg and s***m selection, fertilisation, embryo culture and vitrification (freezing), they are the ones caring for those precious eggs, s***m and embryos, keeping them safe and doing all they can so the fertilised eggs can develop into beautiful embryos ready for transfer. Today we thank our wonderful laboratory teams who make parenthood possible for so many of our patients.

We are excited to announce that our new Murdoch clinic will be opening in August. This will give our patients in Western Australia easier access to our services with 2 clinics in Perth. Our existing Craigie clinic is located north of the river and our new Murdoch clinic will be located south of the river in Murdoch Square, WA’s newest mixed-use healthcare precinct. Dr Gayatri Borude, Dr Maha Ragunath and Dr Shanthi Srinivasan will all be available for consults at both clinics. We are looking forward to making high quality fertility treatment even more accessible.

This month Adora Fertility celebrates 11 years of helping individuals and couples access the fertility treatments they need through affordable and accessible IVF. Since we opened our first clinic in NSW in 2014 it has been our unwavering mission to provide private clinic fertility care at a fraction of the cost.
