- China. Visiting manufacturers, exploring new products and envisioning the next phase of LATRAVLA.

I didn’t go to China to tick a box. I went to understand - truly understand - what it takes to put something worthy into the world.

That’s the thing no one tells you about building a product like this: you start to see the world differently. I’d check into a beautiful room, crisp white linen, turndown service, the whole experience - and the first thing I’d do is wrap my pillow. Not because the hotel wasn’t lovely. Because I know what’s on that silk. Because I built it to go with me.

The PillowWrap™ exists because I asked a simple question: why do we accept mystery fabrics against our skin when we sleep away from home? China gave me the answer, and the means to do something about it. This trip made it real in a way no product brief ever could.

Every hotel I stayed in - and there were some extraordinary ones - I unzipped my bag and pulled out my PillowWrap™. It’s not a habit. It’s a ritual.
