Welcome to our little community. I'm Chloe (she/her), your friendly neighbourhood psychologist, fellow mamaless girl, and human behind The Mamaless Psych.

we are now and where we have come from, before working on the version of ourselves we may like to become.

Ask yourself, "Who am I at this present time in my life?"

Answering self reflective questions can be tricky, consider how you would describe yourself to others or choose 5 words that best represent you.

My worth is not defined by what I've lost. 💛

Affirmations can help us to challenge negative or unhelpful thoughts, but have you ever wondered, what’s the science? Do they actually work? Has anyone actually studied it?

There are several psychological theories, and many empirical studies that investigate the use of affirmations and how they can help us. Evidence from neuroscience research suggests increases in some neural pathways that can be seen on MRIs when individuals engage in self affirmation tasks (Cascio et al., 2016), which is quite incredible!
