To coincide with World Cancer Day on Tuesday 4 February 2025, we have proudly partnered with Rare Cancers Australia to host a Facebook Live information session and Q&A to learn more about rare cancers.
The theme of World Cancer Day 2025 is United by Unique - a perfect opportunity to shine a light on rare cancers.
This session will provide an overview of what rare cancers are, along with the treatment options and support services available to rare cancer patients. An audience Q&A will take place towards the end of the session.
This free online event will be hosted by Icon Group Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Haematologist, Dr Ian Irving with guest speakers including Medical Oncologist, Dr Vladimir Andelkovic and Rare Cancer's Australia Cancer Navigation Program Lead, Jaime Macedo.
This session is suitable for patients, families and caregivers.
