For a long time I thought wellness had to be complicated.

More routines.
More rules.
More things to remember.

These days I've learnt that it's often the simple things that make the biggest difference.

A little more water.
Getting outside for some fresh air.
A consistent morning routine.
Going to bed a little earlier.
Making time for the habits that help me feel my best 🤍

Because let’s be honest…

Life doesn’t exactly slow down when mums start feeling run down 😂

Between work, kids, appointments, washing piles and trying to remember what day it even is sometimes… I’ve realised I need simple routines that fit into real life.

There’s something about fresh herbal scents that instantly makes a home feel reset 🌿✨

Not in a dramatic “my whole life is together” kind of way 😂

But in that:
☀️ windows open
🌿 fresh air flowing
🧺 house feels lighter
✨ everyone can breathe again

…kind of way.

I’ve been diffusing Spanish Sage during the middle of the day when the house starts feeling a bit chaotic or heavy and this is my favourite one to diffuse at work at the moment.

It just creates such a fresh, grounding atmosphere without feeling overpowering 🤍

I’ve been reaching for SuperMint first thing in the morning and it completely changes the feel of the house.

Not because the house suddenly becomes peaceful…

(Because… kids 😂)

But because I’ve started becoming more intentional about how I end the day.

Instead of going straight from:
⚡ busy
⚡ overstimulated
⚡ mentally exhausted

…to trying to instantly sleep.

I’ve been loving little bedtime rituals lately:

📖 reading instead of scrolling

BUT who's kidding, I have kids! 😂

I still love finding little ways to make the house feel softer though ✨
