Throwback to ANZAC Day, when our teams across Lives Lived Well marked the day in meaningful ways.

In Adelaide, veterans and staff came together for a small in-office service, including a display of service items and a moment of reflection. Rosemary was laid in remembrance, to be included in a wreath for those unable to attend a dawn service.

Across the community, our teams showed their support in different ways — attending local services, laying wreaths and sharing tributes to honour the stories and sacrifices of those who served.

From regional towns to community events, each act was a meaningful way to support.

Today, we come together to honour the courageous souls who shaped our nation's history. ANZAC Day holds a sacred place in our hearts as we commemorate the bravery and sacrifice of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.

As we pay tribute to the heroes of the past, we also extend our heartfelt support to the veterans and their families who bravely carry the weight of their sacrifices.

We are committed to providing help through our Veterans' and Families' Wellbeing Hubs.

Today, and every day, we honour their memory, their legacy, and their enduring spirit.

Lest we forget.

“The Watershed day program was a lifesaver for me in early recovery.”

To this client, it felt like they were completely alone.
“I had no friends or family left who wanted anything to do with me.”

But through the program, connection and care made a difference.
“Darrelle and Sam were friendly and kind and made me feel like someone cared about me and my recovery.”

Through the program, they connected with others and realised they weren’t alone in working towards a better path.

“The other people in recovery made me feel like it wasn't just happening to me.”

We know the path to recovery can feel lonely, but at Lives Lived Well, you’re never alone.

With a vision to create something meaningful for young mob, Paige, our Diverse Community Coordinator, dreamed big and made it happen.

Securing two grants and bringing together local partners, businesses and the City of Gold Coast, Connecting on Concrete is set to be a flagship event for QLD Youth Week this April.

In partnership with Songline, a collective of First Nations skateboarders connected through culture and Country, the event will feature:
🛹 Skate demos and workshops
🎨 Skateboard art sessions
🎮 Games, prizes and activities
💈 Free haircuts for young men

While the event was created with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people in mind, everyone is welcome to come along and be part of the day.

We’re proud to support initiatives that bring community together and create spaces where young people feel seen, heard and connected. 🔵🟢

Big shout out to Paige!

“Dianella has been a life changer for me.”

From feeling ashamed to finding comfort after connecting with the Dianella service, this client is gradually learning to manage their dependence on alcohol and rebuild acceptance of themselves. 💙💚

They spoke about struggling with depression and using alcohol to cope with the pain, until things eventually reached a point where they needed support and entered detox. Asking for help for the first time was not easy.

“I’ve never asked for help before… I was reluctant, scared and a bit ashamed.”

But their experience with Dianella quickly changed that.

“My case worker was so lovely, kind and understanding. I didn’t feel shame or anxious about talking to her.”

Through ongoing support and regular catch-ups, they began to feel more hopeful about managing life’s challenges.

“Even if I’m having a bad day she makes me feel normal and that it’s ok. That things can be managed if you break it down into smaller parts.”

Thank you to our Dianella team for helping people understand that recovery looks different for everyone and no one has to do it alone. 💙💚

Today 31 March, we celebrate Trans Day of Visibility! 🏳️‍⚧️

An annual international celebration of trans pride and awareness, recognising the experiences, achievements, and journeys of transgender, gender diverse, and non-binary people.

💭 Can you guess what the colours of the Trans Pride flag mean?
Watch our video to find out!

Here’s how you can show your support for trans people:

✅ Use their correct name and pronouns – even small mistakes matter, so make the effort
✅ Practice gender-neutral language when meeting someone new.
✅ Call out discrimination – don’t let transphobic jokes or comments slide.
✅ Share inclusive spaces – support trans-friendly businesses, healthcare, and community services.
✅ Show visible support – wear a pronoun badge on your lapel or lanyard.

Every action counts! Let’s celebrate and stand with our trans community today and every day.
