Chiropractors relieve pain, restore spinal joint movement and change muscle patterns with gentle specific manipulations called “adjustments”. These joints include shoulders, knees, elbows, feet, hips and the spine. On-going treatment may include exercise and lifestyle advice, which is individually tailored to each case. Matthew Platz is biomechanical based practitioner and uses both ‘Diversified’ and ‘Gonstead’ methods of adjusting. He incorporates soft tissue technique in his treatment with a focus on active muscle release technique. Matt is from sporting backgrounds and have a great understanding of human body movement. The field of massage therapy is quite large, running the gamut from therapists who perform basic Swedish massage to people trained in fields like trigger points. A massage therapist's goal is usually to relax his or her client while promoting general health and well being. As a Remedial Massage Therapist, Eduardo can provide relaxation, deep tissue, remedial and sport massage. He also studied two years of Osteopathy and some other rehab therapy like the French technique Mezieres and the Australian Emmett Therapy so his treatment reflects his ongoing studies.

At the monthly BNI meeting, Matt gave a short presentation on gratitude:

I finally realised in the last month after a lot of reading and reflection that we are not competing against one another. We are all just fighting procrastination, negative emotions, and our comfort zone. We can all counter these 3 by finding your tribe (accountability partners), consistently learning, eating and moving well. That’s what I’m super grateful for!

We’ve noticed more people are getting burnt out as we come close to the end of the year.

So.. here’s some things you can consider to minimise your burn out:
- Increase your electrolyte intake (sodii or hydrolyte);
- Restart your consistent magnesium routine;
- Get adjusted to maintain your mobility and stability;
- Write down your problems (they are easier to solve once they are written down!); and
- Get to bed earlier!
