What is the "Systemic Lens" actually about? 🔍

Ever feel like there’s an invisible weight in the room during a session? Often, what we’re feeling are the intergenerational patterns and hidden dynamics of a family system.

In our upcoming course with The Family Systems Hub, we dive deep into the world of Family Constellations. This isn't just theory—it’s an experiential training that equips you with the "systemic eyes" to see what is shaping a child's world.

By understanding these patterns, you can:
✨ Enhance your clinical effectiveness.
✨ Reduce therapist burnout by staying "in your place."
✨ Facilitate deeper healing for the families you support.

Join a community of like-minded practitioners and transform the way you hold space.

📍 Where: Online (Convenient for our QLD & interstate community!)

Queensland Institute of Play Therapy -

I began April at the Synergetic Play Therapy Advanced Retreat on the Sunshine Coast, and it was so special to see two QIPT students also attending. There is something incredibly powerful about being in a space where play, reflection, and deep inner work are all welcomed.

Last Thursday evening was a beautiful evening of connection, learning, & collaboration 💜
We had the privilege of bringing together both new & familiar faces for our workshop on OT & Play Therapy collaboration-supporting the whole child. These spaces always remind us how powerful it is when we come together with curiosity, respect, & a shared purpose.
A heartfelt thank you to Kyra Wilton Hawkins for co-presenting. Your insights, warmth, & depth of knowledge made the evening so meaningful.
We explored:
🌱 The unique roles of OTs & Play Therapists
🌱How our work overlaps - & where it shouldn’t
🌱The importance of staying in our lane while deeply respecting each other’s
🌱Practical, real world ways to collaborate & support children & families.
What stood out most was the shared intention in the room - to support children not just through our individual lenses, but through connection, communication, & collaboration.
Grateful for this community & the conversations that continue long after the workshop ends. 🫶💜
