🚨 According to the research, women with higher levels of “forever chemicals” in their blood have a 40% lower chance of becoming pregnant within a year of trying to conceive. 😱
State lawmakers in California, Vermont, and Colorado are taking action to ban toxic “forever chemicals” in period products like tampons and liners. Plus, Minnesota’s already ahead of the game by being the first state to enact legislation phasing out PFAS-containing period products along with other household goods like children’s toys and cookware 🙌🏼. Let’s hope Australia can follow suit!!🙏🏼.
Recent studies have sounded the alarm on PFAS, linking it to hormone disruption and metabolism issues. Dr. Nathan Cohen from Mount Sinai School of Medicine stresses the need for awareness: PFAS can mess with reproductive hormones and increase the risk of conditions like endometriosis and polycystic o***y syndrome. 😬
Scary stuff, right? 😨Especially considering these chemicals are lurking in our everyday period products, coming into direct contact with the skin on the va**na and v***a for an extended time. These harmful chemicals may absorb through the sensitive skin into bloodstream. This is why PFAS experts warn that it is urgent to have regulation and government policies for clarifying safe products for customers.😳 Let’s demand clear regulations and policies to ensure our safety! Spread the word! 📢
