I was raised with witchcraft, not Jesus. My dad was an atheist, my mum was a witch, and religion was something we stayed away from.
But a couple years ago I got curious. If so many people believe in Jesus, what would happen if I called on him directly?
I expected silence. Instead, I was met with overwhelming love — not judgment, not rules, not fear. Just love.
When I asked him about the Bible and the Church, he didn’t condemn anyone. He said the point was never the religion — the point was love.
I didn’t convert. I didn’t become Christian. But I stopped hating religion.
Love became my religion.
