At All About Living we deliver personalised home care packages and support to those in need within the North Brisbane area. We are a not-for-profit community based organisation that has over 25 years of experience in providing home support services to enhance individuals strengths and independence.
We specialise in Life Planning, a comprehensive service model that ensures the care and support provided to individuals and carers is seamless, respectful, participant-driven and responsive.
Our participants are eligible to receive services via an ACAT assessment through My Aged Care, National Disabilities Insurance Scheme, Queensland Community Care Services, Veterans’ Home Care (VHC) & Community Nursing Service, and fee for service for those who are not eligible through the assessment criteria above.
Life Planning - a wellness approach that involves assessment, planning and delivery of support that build on the strengths, capacity and goals of individuals, and encourages actions that promote a level of independence in daily living tasks.
Domestic Assistance - helps participants with domestic tasks, including cleaning, dishwashing, clothes washing and unaccompanied shopping.
Personal Care - provides assistance with daily self-care. Includes bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating and getting in and out of bed.
Home Care Packages - provision of Level 1, 2, 3 & 4 Home Care Packages to older Australians.
Nursing – provision of nursing services to Veterans, private participants and eligible persons under the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
NDIS Packages – provides assistance with daily personal activities, participation in community, social and civic activities, household tasks, Community Nursing specialist care.
Social Support (Individual) - assist a participant to engage and connect within their community. Activities include visiting services, telephone-based monitoring services and assisting the person with shopping and other related activities.
Social Support (groups) - provides an opportunity for clients to attend and participate in social interactions which are conducted in, or from, centre-based settings. These activities
are designed to support social interaction and independent living.
Respite Care - provides rest/break assistance to the carer. The carer may or may not be present during the delivery of this service.
Assessment - determination of eligibility for subsidised services, determination of the client’s capacity to undertake activities and/or a specialised assessment such as ‘convenience’. Case Management - is available to clients with more complex needs. It may be short term or ongoing. It includes assisting a client to coordinate their services.
Goods and Equipment - are provided to assist a participant with a functional limitation. Items include those that assist with mobility, communication, personal care and health care.
Home Maintenance - assistance includes repair and maintenance of a participant’s home or yard. Garden maintenance may include lawn mowing and the removal of rubbish.
Transport - assistance with transport either (in our car) or indirect (via taxi).
Allied Health - provision of specialised services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, evaluated group exercises, massage etc.
Meals – assistance with meal preparation and/or pre-prepared, nutritious meal.
