Family Doctors Plus Family Doctors Plus combines the modern medicine world with the wellbeing world to improve your health and your child's health. Thank you.

Open 7 days and most public holidays. Dr Maria Boulton & Dr Fiona Raciti founded Family Doctors Plus in 2016 with a view of providing "a completely different approach to family health" by combining traditional and holistic medicine. They are joined by a team of experienced doctors and allied health professionals. QML pathology is on site to perform blood tests and other investigations. We welcome patients of all ages 7 days a week. We provide all general practice medical services-family health, pregnancy care, child health, women's health, men's health, aged care, travel medicine, all travel vaccinations, skin cancer checks, skin excisions, minor emergency care (eg grazes and lacerations) and mental health services. We provide the full spectrum of occupational medicine services and Qld and NSW Coal and Mineral Mine and Quarry Medicals. Our doctors are Appointed Medical Advisors through Corporate Doctors Plus. We care for residents in aged care and are currently working at facilities operated by Tricare. Our bespoke clinic is fresh and light. It has a dedicated kid's waiting area and kid's vaccination room. There is ramp access for prams and the parking is a breeze. We hold regular education events-eg. School readiness seminars, puberty and menopause information sessions and more. For details and dates keep an eye on our page. Your heart is something you can work on keeping healthy every day! And itโ€™s important too as 1.4 million Australians have a high chance of having a heart attack or stroke in the next five years.

Having a regular Heart Health Check with your GP will help you better understand your risk of heart attack or stroke and most importantly, they can support you to lower this risk.

Anyone 45-years or older and 30 years or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples should have regular checks.

Other tips include:

Our Story

Located in Windsor, Brisbane, and founded by Dr Maria Boulton and Dr Fiona Raciti, Family Doctors Plus aims to change the way health care is delivered in the community. Education is key to our approach, not only treating disease but also encouraging and informing you about healthy living (through nutrition, physical activity and emotional health) to prevent disease. The result is Family Doctors Plus, a caring medical clinic based on health professionals spending quality time with patients as well as educating the community to encourage healthy lifestyles and prevent health issues. Both Dr Maria and Dr Fiona were disillusioned with what they saw as the traditional โ€˜5 minute medicineโ€™ method, which sacrifices a doctorโ€™s time with their patients in order to maximise the number of patients they can see. Instead, our family-friendly clinic not only provides comprehensive health care to all ages, but also aims to empowers you to achieve good health and take charge of your own wellbeing. To help achieve this, we hold popular community education seminars on topics such as puberty, school readiness and menopause. This initiative is supported by regular health education newsletters for local kindergartens, schools, aged-care facilities and for expecting and new parents. Dr Maria is also a regular guest on ABC Radio Brisbane discussing health news. Dr Maria and Dr Fiona are joined by like minded and experienced GPs, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals who work collaboratively to help you and your family. Family Doctors Plus is a warm and welcoming clinic and has a dedicated kidโ€™s waiting area, kidโ€™s vaccination/treatment room as well as a large adultโ€™s treatment room fitted with the latest state of the art equipment. Family Dotors Plus holds regular fndraisers to give back to the community who was welcomed us so warmly.
