Setting boundaries is not selfish. It’s a form of self-respect.
Many of us were raised to please others, to be agreeable, to “keep the peace” even at the expense of our own wellbeing.
But over time, constantly saying yes when we mean no—staying silent when we feel hurt—leads to resentment, exhaustion, and disconnection from ourselves.

Boundaries aren’t walls. They’re bridges to healthier, more honest relationships—with others and with ourselves.
They tell the world, this is where I begin, and this is what I need in order to feel safe, respected, and whole.

You are allowed to protect your time.
You are allowed to prioritise your mental and emotional energy.
You are allowed to say no—without guilt, fear, or needing to justify it.

Sometimes it’s the racing thoughts at night when all you want is rest.
Or the tight chest in the middle of a perfectly “normal” day.
It’s the overthinking, the tension in your jaw, the sense that something’s wrong — even when you can’t explain why.

Anxiety can make life feel smaller. Harder. Exhausting.

Have you been feeling off lately—physically drained, emotionally flat, or like something is stuck, but you can’t quite explain what?

Sometimes, our bodies speak what our words cannot. Chronic tension, persistent pain, fatigue, and even repeated illnesses may be more than just physical—they can reflect emotional stress, unresolved trauma, or long-standing inner conflicts.

This doesn’t mean your symptoms are “in your head.” On the contrary—your body may be doing its best to help you listen, slow down, or protect yourself. In psychosomatic therapy, we explore how your emotional world may be influencing your physical experience, offering insight, compassion, and the possibility of real change.
