Today marks the start of Men's Health Week! A dedicated week to discuss and encourage men to invest in their mental and physical health. Asking for help is a strength, not a weakness and knowing when to seek assistance is wisdom.

Although I started out as a women's coach, I now have a number of male clients who I love supporting. Particularly with their mental wellbeing and areas around relationship and work stressors. It's an absolute honor to work with men who feel comfortable being vulnerable, who are open and willing to seek support with their mental, emotional and physical health.

Physical Movement is one of the foundations of wellbeing and we love having the opportunity to share our love of movement with the St Aidan's girls.

We absolutely need to take the time for our mind & body to completely unwind πŸ’š

Our bodies need time and space to cope with the pace of modern living. Never before in human history have we lived at such a relentless pace and it’s having a significant impact on our biochemistry. ⁠
⁠
We need downtime, outside of sleep, to allow our bodies and minds time to recalibrate and rest. And solitude can help us foster that. For many, the only time they can truly feel as though they don’t have to β€˜be’ or β€˜do’ anything for anyone else is when they are alone. ⁠
⁠
Solitude creates space for us to reflect on our priorities and needs, rather than those of others. It’s an opportunity for us to replenish both our body and our mind at the same time. 🌿

Today, I was gentle with myself. I leaned into connection instead of shutting down. I allowed stillness. I may have had moments of not feeling okay but in those moments, ultimately, I held myself and was indeed many other worthy things. How fitting to see this pop up in my news feed this evening. πŸ’š
