Congratulations Junee RSL Sub-Branch
Thanks to a $2,020 grant from the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club (via ClubGrants Category 1) and a $500 grant from Alpha First Aid the Junee RSL Sub-Branch was able to purchase Emergency Equipment that will be available at our various Commemorative Services (eg Anzac Day, Remembrance Day and others).
We fervently hope that we will NEVER have to actually use the purchased emergency equipment but we are confident we have the appropriate resources available should a medical or other emergency arise.
With the funding we have purchased:
• Mindray Beneheart C1A Waterproof Hardcase AED Bundle
The smart ResQNaviTM technology used in the defibrillator will guide users through the tense rescue process step by step with animation coaching and voice prompts. The proficiency of a rescuer can be determined, according to the time spent at each step, with appropriate guidance and encouragement to help you save lives with confidence.
The Defibrillator is contained in a foam lined waterproof, rustproof and shockproof case specifically cut for this unit and the bundle includes a sign, shave back & case
• Trauma Major Emergency Kit in a Back Pack
A first aid kit that is easily transportable and designed for use in high risk situations with over 80 individual items.
• Fire Pro Extinguisher And Blanket Fire Safety Kit
A lightweight dry powder extinguisher that meets Australian Standards Rated 2A:10B:E and is ideal for small electrical or other fires.
• Really Useful Box 84L Clear
A large, heavy duty CLEAR tub to storage and transport the new Emergency Kit. The clear tub allows us to quickly see if the equipment is still within the tub and we have placed stickers First Aid and Fire Extinguisher signs on the tub to clearly identify its' sole purpose.
