Are you pregnant or parenting a 0-5 year old and looking for a safe space to connect with other parents?

This peer support group is held in our child friendly group room, giving you a chance to bring-along bub and talk about the realities of life, how you are feeling, and your parenting journey.

We’ve got tea, coffee, and snacks covered, all you need to bring is yourself! ☕️

Councillor Lucy Collier on her soapbox….and we LOVE it!! 👏👏

Normalising that having a baby is a major life event, a rite of passage that we are not prepared for and left unsupported through. Experiences through this time of life can have profound impact to your very core of being, your self identity, your relationships and for sure, your mental health.

Thank you Lucy for your advocacy. To anyone currently sitting in this space, Peach Tree is a place to reach out to - everyone who works at Peach Tree is a parent with Lived Experience who gets that often being a parent is stressful and overwhelming, and struggling is not shameful, and help and support is available 💕

✨ Join us for Just Peachy Peer Support Group at Ipswich Central ✨

This session will offer a gentle, relaxed space to pause and reflect on your hopes, aspirations, and intentions for 2026 through a guided vision board activity. Using creativity as a tool for self-connection, we’ll support you to explore what you’d like more of in the year ahead — at your own pace, in your own way.

🖼️ What to expect:
• A calm, welcoming peer support space
• Aesthetic vision board creation and guided reflection
• A creative twist on the usual Just Peachy format
• Time for intention-setting and self-connection at the start of the year

🤍 Who is this for?
This is a peer support group for anyone who is pregnant or parenting children aged between 0–5 years.

All core materials will be provided. You’re also very welcome to bring along any personal images, quotes, or materials from home if you’d like to add a personal touch.

This session will be gently facilitated, with no pressure to share — just space to be, create, and connect.

Date: Thursday 26th February, 9:30am to 11am

Location: Ipswich Central - Nicholas Street Precinct

Open to: Pregnant parents and parents of children aged 0–5 seeking connection, reflection, and peer support

The Shark Cage® program is relevant for any woman who has experienced an abusive relationship in their lifetime, and has a child 5 or under and/or is currently pregnant.
Shark Cage® can:
✅ Increase your capacity to set boundaries
✅ Improve your assertive communication skills
✅ Increase the awareness of the impacts of abuse
✅ Decrease any feelings of self-blame or victim blaming
✅ Increase your capacity for self-care & kindness to themselves
✅ Increase connection to your feelings and body
✅ Increase your sense of self worth
✅ Increase belief in your entitlement to basic human rights
✅ Increase their ability to recognise a potentially abusive or exploitative person
