Dr Julia Shine Welcome to my page! I will take you from my work in the city to my rural trips with the RFDS.

I love my job, my co-workers and my beautiful patients, a number of whom have also become my friends! In March 2021 I welcomed my first baby, a little boy, and am currently on maternity leave. I continue to support the Royal Flying Doctor Service through my little business - Loving Tooth Co.

Living in a small place is just as sweet as you would imagine. I love that every day we are greeted with "Hi Archer!", whether we are visiting the coffee shop, the pharmacy, the mechanic, the playground, the library... anywhere really! What a beautiful feeling to be part of a community.

What a great morning at . The 'Women in Dentistry' breakfast was amazing, as was the trade show.

BUT the best thing was having the opportunity to reconnect with the grown-up world 😂. This was largely owing to the incredible free childcare provided. It was Archer's first childcare experience and he was so content. Thank you so much for recognising and catering for parents ❤

It's so interesting how the human brain normalises things. You stop noticing the special things in your life and just take them as a given. Having Archie highlights just how fleeting every moment is, he changes and grows so quickly! He makes me notice and appreciate so much more.
