Background - My initial training with Dr Loren Fishman resulted in assisting James Bone (physiotherapist) in several specialist Yoga courses called “Bones of Steel” in 2017 and 2018 (pre-Covid). Dr Fishman’s research found that yoga performed specifically for bone strength could improve bone mass & bone quality.
During Covid, I did some concentrated training with Qigong Summit, enhancing my previous Instructor training with Tai Chi & Qigong. I emphatically realised that here I can share 2 amazing modalities to improve our health in so many ways. I chose Bone Health as our class emphasis, but rest assured that I will include energy work, as usual, as well as flow patterns for ease and mobility.
Content - I will work on simple bone & body strengthening practices, posture, balance (falls prevention), energy flows, breath work to breathe well, and stress reduction to relax well. You will be fierce to your muscles, but gentle to your joints. You will learn how to get stronger, be more mobile, increase wellbeing & vitality, and learn how to stay younger for longer.
