Brisbane - Queensland EWC was established to help people with a disability in the Western suburbs of Brisbane, to provide a place to belong and to gain skills, a sense of achievement and contribution to the community, by providing a friendly workplace and helping the environment as we recycle electronic waste.

We had a big week of donations! Unfortunately, we got some non-electrial donations. Non-electrical items make our day-to-day very difficult as they add a big workload on top of our already big sorting and workshop process, where we can only take electrical items apart.
Please donate ONLY electrical items.
NO Handbags, Clothes, etc.
NO Car doors..
NO Tupperware
NO non-electrical household items
NO batteries (except car-batteries)
NO vapes
NO ink catridges
NO Globes or bulbs
NO large fridges
NO gas bottles/soda streams

Hello Ipswich!
We are looking for more volunteers to help with our workshops in Bundamba - do you have a few hours in the day to spare and are looking to do something useful and hands on?
Send us a message or come by during our workshop hours to learn more about volunteering with Ewaste Connection.

At EWC, a volunteer is someone who gives their time to help supervise and assist the participants and staff in our workshops.
A volunteer will also enjoy social interaction or assist with sorting / testing / refurbishing donated items.

No previous experience is required to volunteer at EWC - you just need to have a positive attitude and be ready to help our participants recycle ewaste while having fun.

Christmas Holiday Closures

Ewaste Connection will close after the workshop session on Saturday 13 December for the Christmas holiday and reopen again on Monday 12 January, 2026.

We wish you all a safe holiday and look forward to seeing you back at the workshops.

Part time position available
We are looking for a part time person to support EWC in an operations and logistics assistant role.

If you are friendly, organised, have some computer skills, motivated to help people, fun and flexible, not afraid to get your hands a bit dirty and have a drivers licence/car, then you may be the one.
The position would require about 20 hours per week (46 weeks per year).
