How are those niggles going? If you’re a triathlete and you’ve been dormant in the off-season or putting together ‘nothing’ miles, it might pay to hone in on some specifics leading into the season!

Don’t get lost in junk mileage during the off-season; focus on these three areas for big performance gains next year.

Lower Trapezius
This is a great example of how the Lower Trapezius performs retraction and depression, along with the Mid portion of the muscle. Taking the scapula around the rib cage without the depression component being influenced by the latissimus dorsi or pectoralis major (which can often be the case). With rehab, ensuring we are getting the right movements can be the difference between doing rehab once or repeatedly.

It still feels surreal to wake up and go to work each day building your own dream. Along with some luck, the work we have put in to begin has been immense. We are surrounded by elite gear from that makes TMS not only stand out, but fits the standard that we pursue.

🥳PROGRESS🤩
This chick has been stabbed, compexed, occluded, bent, poked, twisted and man-handed into so many positions over this year.
We have seen many milestones, fast progress and times of frustration, stacks, floppy legs turned feet, turned toes... Pain, flare ups, tap outs and more... and these are just the times we’ve shared together.
After a disc injury that changed Anna’s life, she has gone from a wheelchair, to lethal on crutches, to king-fu handstand walking and climbing her way over squat racks.

Stoked to get the milestone of equal quad size and gaining calf size after still suffering limited L5-S1 innovation.

The strength and resilience Anna has shown and the help of the physio team at Inspire, has helped her overcome some massive hurdles.
Looking forward to some more weekly questions and fun filled sessions as we continue to rebuild and make strides forward!! 🎉🤸🏼‍♀️
