🥕 Volunteer with Purpose – Join Us in the FareShare Kitchen! 🥕
Did you know that 3.4 million Australian households faced food insecurity in 2024—yet as a nation, we waste 8 million tonnes of food every year?
That’s where FareShare steps in. They rescue quality surplus food from supermarkets, farms, and businesses, turning it into nutritious, delicious meals for people in need. These meals are then distributed—free of charge—to front-line charities including homeless shelters, women’s refuges, First Nations communities, and local food banks.
More than just a hot meal, these plates send a powerful message: someone cares. 💛
FIAQ is organising a volunteering evening at FareShare’s Brisbane kitchen—and we’d love for you to be part of it! It’s a rewarding team-building experience that boosts connection and culture while giving back to the community in a very real way.
👨🍳 Spaces are limited to 20, with preference given to members.
