LOW DOSE CT :: Great news for Red Radiology patients. The implementation of our new CT machine married with our in-house expertise resulted in Siemens recognising Red as offering some of the lowest radiation doses in the world on their machine. Like any technology, you can have a machine but it comes down to “who is using it”.

Our doctors have seen images from other clinics that say they do “low dose CT” delivering 7 times the amount of radiation. While we can’t control the industry, we can help educate you on the differences in the industry and ensure you make a more informed choice.

Even if you can’t get to Red, ensure you are asking your doctor to send you to a radiology company that reports their CT radiation doses.
