One of my favourite moments teaching yoga is when the room exhales.

Phones off.
Shoulders drop.
People remembering they don’t have to hold everything alone.
No need to 'perform' or meet any KPIs.
This is a personal moment for students and myself as a teacher...it's space and quiet to breath.

My classes aren’t about being “good at yoga.”

They’re about feeling better when you leave than when you arrived.

If you’ve been meaning to come back to yourself lately, I’d love to welcome you into the space.

Pop along to a class. If you are walking around with your shoulders up to your ears, holding onto your breath, I get it.

Mornings well spent brings a day of content. Happy Lunar New Year ❤️ Year of the horse.... what are you galloping into? Fresh start for us all. ✨️👏🏽

I did some galloping today...working on increasing my km run! A few years ago, I was up to 10km but dropped off...and slowly getting my kms up again. So there was some running 🏃‍♀️ plus some chill 😎 time. Cos - balance, right?

Our young kids are growing up in a challenging time. If you can foster good mental health habits early, it can hold you in good stead leading into your 20s and beyond.

Jan was around grounding and we have moved into all the feels and love in Feb, where will we go in March?

What's involved with a class themed around stretching/opening through your heart?

Poses like dancers pose, locust, camel. Love meditation 🧘🏽‍♀️ giving yourself the same care that you give. When you stretch/open up through your heart, you can breathe easier, soften around your shoulders, upper body is open/less constricted..

Happy Valentines Day 💝

This one is for my single lover girls and boys, maybe on their healing journey. Like me...

Your girl just had her heart broken a few weeks ago and damn, I didnt expect it to hit this hard. I'm definitely better now than 2 weeks ago and 1 week ago. So next week, no doubt, will feel a little lighter.

This is a reminder to you/us (lol reminder to myself)....healthy and kind love exists. 💗 not the kind that leaves you anxious, raw and second guessing. And to keep your heart open. It's Valentines Day after all.

In the midst of this...I am so grateful for people who choose me and show up for me. Helping me to rewire my brain...that yes, it's ok to cry and let people care for me too, love is safe.

Meet you on the yoga mat. Please bear with me, some days I may be a bit wobbly but I'll see you soon.

- looking at your week and self-care habits
- what's working? What's not?
- how can you show up for yourself and nourish yourself which will assist with grounding you so that you can show up in the world the way you want to

Plus...storytime. What has/hasn't helped me on my journey...and no, yoga teachers are not always Zen yoga beings...I stress and spiral like other people and also look to my toolkit to help me stay calm (somewhat) and carry on...

End of Jan and early Feb is the perfect time to set yourself up for a stellar 2026 with small and consistent steps. 💯

Pause for a second. Close your eyes and imagine you are standing in your happy place. Wherever that is. Yoga creates awareness about how you are feeling...the art of noticing. When your breath quickens or your body tightens, jaw locks up...notice what you are doing, pause, reset, breathe and soften.

I love yoga cos...it has helped me to settle my mind and come back to my breath whenever I need and calm myself with practical breathing exercises.

I close my eyes, breathe deeply...and I am back on an island. :=) This is an island off Wellington Point! You can walk there in 20 minutes during lowtide.

Feeling foggy after the festive season and in need of some grounding? I got you!!

I have had the loveliest time since Nov/Dec and really been in holiday mode. Also managed to get a bit sick too over the hols with all these summer colds going around and finally feeling settled, grounded and ready!

If you are ready to reset and walk into 2026 with intention, optimism and consistent yoga practice...pop along to class! We are good to go. Every Tues and Sat morning, I teach at Anytime Fitness, Newmarket, north Bris. There are other great classes throughout the week as well...plus, I will subteach on 19th Jan and at AF Stafford soon!

Meet you on the mat. Let's clear up the brain fog and step into the new year with deep breathing and clarity.
