I recently shared a meeting with our excellent and very experienced nursing and dietician team. The topic? A rise in vitamin B6 levels in several patients during Bariatric follow up. The conclusion? Many supplements contain high amounts of vB6. eg hair, skin and nails. So too do energy drinks!! The symptoms of vB6 toxicity include numbness, weakness and poor balance. So, pls don’t miss your Bariatric follow up with your surgeon and dietician team!!
