Making the final call on whether a session is on or off is definitely my least favourite job! I constantly check the BOM weather updates—comparing the old and new forecasts—hoping to make the right decision early so anyone traveling doesn't head out for no reason.

With the fields at The Mitchelton Football Club already been closed for a couple of days & more rain expected this afternoon we have decided to 'Cancel' todays session to give those that travel time to be advised.
Hopefully the weather will allow next week to go ahead.

After a week of rain and so much uncertainty about whether BPFP would be on or off, it was truly wonderful to see so many faces attend today 😊

Your dedication and support mean so much, and it made the session extra special.

A heartfelt thank you to Mitchelton Football Club for allowing the fields to remain open and giving everyone the opportunity to come together ☺️

After speaking with many families and hearing about Mother’s Day celebrations next weekend, we will not be presenting a session.

It is absolutely beautiful to know so many will be spending time celebrating the amazing mums in their lives 😍

To all mums, thank you for everything you do each and every day. You are deeply appreciated and loved 💐❤️

GRASS FIELDS CLOSED - SATURDAY 2 MAY

Sadly after the continued wet weather overnight along with the promise of more rain on the way the club to make the decision to close grass fields for games today. Saturday 2nd May. A disappointing start to the community football season unfortunately and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next weekend for games.

We appreciate your patience as this weather hangs around. 🌧

Games scheduled to be played on Field 2 (synthetic field) will still go ahead as normal.

GRASS FIELDS CLOSED - MONDAY 27 APRIL

Unfortunately the constant showers and rain already received over the weekend have led the grounds staff to close grass fields for training tonight Monday 27 April.

Hopefully we get some sustained sunshine over the next 24hrs and training can be back on, we will of course keep you all updated.
