Ask R U OK? Any Day because life happens everyday.
A lot can happen in a year, a month, a week. Whether it’s your friend, family member, colleague, partner, or teammate, the people you care about go through life’s ups and downs every day.
By having regular, meaningful conversations, you build trust and normalise talking about what’s really going on, so when the people in your world find themselves struggling, they know you’re someone they can talk to.
Today, and every day, let's make a conscious effort to check in with the people around us—be it a friend, family member, colleague, partner, or teammate. Sometimes, just knowing we have someone to talk to can make all the difference.
For others, a bit more support or guidance might be needed. If you or someone you know needs professional help, please reach out to:

Let’s look out for each other and keep the conversation going—because every day is a good day to ask, “R U OK?”
R U OK?Day is held on the second Thursday in September every year. It's our national day of action when we remind Australians to ask, ‘are you OK?’ and start a meaningful conversations at school, university, TAFE, workplace, or community groups.
