Did you do it?
Did you achieve that ‘thing’ you told yourself you would do back in January?
It wasn't that long ago when you said you were going to get yourself fitter, stronger and healthier! Well maybe you did…but then, you got bored, lost the drive and accountability and slid back to your old ways.
Uncomfortable and not happy in your own skin again!
I know the feeling!
I was nearly 100kg at one stage –
I HAD LET MYSELF GO!
After a while – you must come to a decision because what you are currently doing isn’t sticking or sustainable.
You either, look to break old habits in your lifestyle or build new ones the right way.
We're heading towards the middle of Feb already! That’s nearly 2 months of the year gone!

If you want to stay in shape - commit to a exercise program (where the times are set and the accountability is high). Once you get the regular consistency we can work on other areas and continue to build stronger lifestyle habits. Find 2 or 3 times a week to exercise – even if you only have 30mins. Short workouts 45mins or less are best in my opinion for sustainable and lasting routines.
Train at the right intensity, replenish the body and repeat.
Strength training absolutely should be apart of your weekly routine! It will give you the biggest reward for your effort. We simply improve our bodies engine for faster fat burning and energy, building muscle and overall health.

A simple daily dog walk, follow along mobility/stretch, yardwork or a few laps of your pool can make all the difference.

Here is a little tip to start 2026 off with…

Control What You Can
I can control my attitude, the time I wake up, how I run my business and what I eat. These are in my control – they just need discipline to be achieved!
I can control how I choose to exercise, what intensity and when I rest.
The trick is, to stay in control. Some of these take priority and others take more time.
Don’t stop – just change direction as needed.
Focus ONLY on what you can control.
Don’t waste your positive energy and stress about the little things.
Set yourself up for a ‘win’ this week.
Plan your exercise days, your meals, your snacks, your social activities, and family time.
If you have a busy weekend with kid’s sport – it is SO EASY to leave the house ‘ ready for failure’.
Pack your water, fruit, and a little esky – if you are doing meal preps or have healthy leftovers from dinner this is simple to throw together!

The strength clients all completed their 8 rep section and hit PB's along the way!

Outdoor group fitness and boxing had a couple of tougher sessions to finish up the year!

My advice...
Take one or two weeks OFF then ease into it before we step things UP from Jan 12th :)

Not long till you get at least a little break over Christmas!

I’d like to take this opportunity to THANK YOU for being a part of PCF.
It has been 21 years now and many of you have been training here for over 10 years or more now! WOW – we have been through a lot! 😊
It’s YOU that make it happen and it does take ‘effort’ to improve your lifestyle – I feel a great sense of achievement from each of you over the course of training with me, with your small comments, break throughs, laughs, trust in me with your health and the friendships!

So – keep chugging!
