When to listen to your mind rather than your body.

16 weeks it’s been since I had my surgery.

16 weeks of not being able to do basic tasks like put my arms above my head, lift baskets full of washing, move anything heavier than 5kg.

16 weeks since I have gone from exercising 5-6 times a week, to NOTHING.

This week, I listened to my mind. My body was craving it, but my mind was starving. It’s sick.

So today, even though my body was saying “I’m almost there” my mind was saying I’m on the verge of breaking and not coming back. So I listened to it.

I moved. I filled the cup, jut a little bit. Light - controlled - within limits I knew I was capable of.

This is where I find myself again. This is where true recovery starts.

Seated Adductor Machine — Do It RIGHT 👇🔥

Stop just moving the weight… start training the muscle.

4 key cues:
✅ Sit tall — chest up, ribs stacked over hips (no slouching).
✅ Control the squeeze — bring pads together slowly, don’t slam.
✅ Lead with inner thighs — think “pull in” not “push with knees.”
✅ Pause + resist — 1-sec squeeze, then control the way back out.

Small adjustments = BIG inner thigh activation 💪
