🏋️‍♀️ Next Step in Building Knee Strength! 🏋️‍♂️

For those who have progressed beyond the VMO Activation and Knee Extension exercises, it’s time to take things up a notch!

💪 The Sit-to-Stand Exercise is a fantastic way to build leg and knee strength.

✅ How to do it:
1️⃣ Sit tall on your chair, feet flat on the floor.
2️⃣ Engage your core and push through your legs to stand up.
3️⃣ Then, lower yourself slowly and with control back down to the chair.

This movement strengthens the muscles you use every day — perfect for improving stability, mobility, and independence! 👏

✨ A Full-Circle Moment Today ✨

I had one of those truly special moments when I saw Bill in one of our groups today. It took me right back to helping him over 20 years ago—when I was a brand-new Exercise Physiologist just starting out.

The memories came flooding back. I never imagined that supporting my very first clients would one day grow into the incredible community we now have at Coordinated Fitness.

Seeing Bill today, working with our amazing team, reminded me how far we’ve all come. I’m so grateful to have helped so many people over the years—and now to be surrounded by a team of EPs and support crew that I never had in those early days.

Being part of an industry focused on empowering people to make life-changing improvements is something I’m endlessly proud of. And it all started with people like Bill, who took a chance on a young EP in Greenslopes two decades ago. 💙

Here’s to the journey, the people, and the community we’ve built. 🙌✨

🧘‍♂️ Time for a Stretch to Support Your Knees! 🧘‍♂️

Did you know your hamstrings play a big role in knee health?
These muscles start at the ischial tuberosity — the large bone at the bottom of your pelvis (the one you sit on!) — and attach to the bones at the back of your knee.

When your hamstrings are tight, they can pull on your knees and limit your flexibility, making it harder to walk comfortably or complete everyday tasks.

Taking time to stretch your hamstrings can make a big difference in how your knees feel and move! 🙌

🦵 2nd Knee Strength Exercise for the Week! 🦵

Today we’re working on the Seated Knee Extension — a great exercise to strengthen your quads and support healthy knees.

✅ How to do it:
1️⃣ Sit tall on your chair and switch your core on.
2️⃣ Slowly extend your lower leg out in front of you.
3️⃣ At the top, hold and squeeze your quad.
4️⃣ Gently lower back down with control.

Simple, effective, and perfect for building knee strength! 💪

💪 First Exercise to Help with Knee Pain! 💪

Today we’re focusing on strengthening your VMO (Vastus Medialis Oblique) — a key muscle that supports your knee.

✅ How to do a VMO Leg Lift:
1️⃣ Engage your core.
2️⃣ Squeeze your quad (the top muscle on your thigh).
3️⃣ While keeping that squeeze, lift your leg straight up.

This simple move helps build stability and reduce knee discomfort over time. Give it a try today! 👏
