Music Beat Australia (in Brisbane) provides community music groups, music lessons, and music therapy. We even offer lessons for parents too!

Music Beat Kids (the home of Boppin’ Babies) is a music early learning program designed by Dr Vicky Abad, a Registered and tertiary qualified music therapist and early childhood education researcher. Music Beat Therapy Services provides music therapy services for children and adults of all abilities, ages and backgrounds. Music Beat Lessons and Tuition offers piano, guitar, and singing lessons for primary and secondary school aged children. We also offer music early learning programs and group music programs for childcare centres, kindergartens, community groups, corporates and local governments,

Online Support Group for parents and care givers ✨

Our NEW and FREE monthly online group is a space to connect with others to listen and be heard to recharge and to enjoy music.

Each month, we will pick a discussion topic, share experiences and wisdoms, and support each other through challenges in our parenting journey. The session is led by Lucia Phelan and provides a virtual space for our Music Beat Therapy Parents in the comfort of their own home during the evening.

Miss Vicky found a few articles from when she started Boppin' Babies (now known as Music Beat) when Miss A was little:

"The tradition of singing lullabies to communicate with and soothe babies, and using music in play has been used for millennia" Ms Abad said. "We hone in on the ability of music to foster growth and development in young children to strengthen bonds with parents".

Our program is designed to help babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers grow into happy, confident children. It nurtures development, fosters a love of music and helps you to use music in the home. Having fun through musical play and taking joy in your child’s musical expression is central to our program. All music is played live by our Registered Music Therapists.
