Will I bruise???

Every time you come in for an injectable treatment there is ALWAYS a risk of bruising. If you have never bruised before you have just been super lucky 😃🤞

I managed to capture a selfie of SOME of my blood vessels on my forehead but I know there are plenty more hidden under the skin. 💥

In fact the ones I can see I am grateful for because I can avoid them, it is the ones I cannot see that are at risk of causing a bruise.

Please be mindful of this and I will always inject slowly and carefully but cannot promise you won’t bruise.

Wanted to post this as I was pretty impressed I could get a selfie showing so many blood vessels on my own forehead 🤣

Whether we are beginner or advanced practitioners, we have all come to learn together from Aesthetics23 in Sydney.

Even with 9 years of experience there is so much to learn in this constantly evolving industry.

A great question to be asking EVERY time you have cosmetic treatments 💉

Our face is full of blood vessels, that is how oxygen is carried to and from all areas of the face to keep our cells and skin alive.

I know many of you have had the fortune of not bruising during your cosmetic treatments, that is fabulous and I hope you continue to be so lucky!

The honest truth is that every time a needle is poked into your face there will be a risk of bruising. How small or big the bruise is will depend on your anatomy and to a certain extent the knowledge and experience of your practitioner.

I always say to my patients please be prepared for bruising even though many times you will walk out of a treatment with no bruising at all.

Staying away from nurofen, fish oil, aspirin and anything which causes thinning of the blood will help minimise the risk of bruising.

Mother’s Day is approaching! 💐

As a mother of 3 x teenage children we all know the unconditional love, sacrifice and effort that we give to our children.

And I am learning that this will NEVER end. We will always feel this way towards our children at whatever age or stage of their lives.

This post is dedicated to my beautiful mum .5065 . She has been my rock and confidant through my whole life… even at my ripe age of 48 😂
