Biome Eco Stores

Biome Eco Stores Zero waste, toxin free, ethical choices, and 100% free of untraceable palm oil. Every purchasing choice you make is a vote for the world you want.

Thirteen years ago I decided to stop worrying that companies were getting away with greenwashing and to do something to create the world I wanted to see. At Biome, we believe in the immense power of individual actions to save our planet. It is impossible to know what chemicals we are being exposed to because manufacturers, who can choose from 30,000 or more synthetic chemicals that have never been assessed for safety, are not required to reveal the full ingredients. Biome's strict standards give you peace of mind. We carefully research, question and verify each supplier for truth in labelling, safe ingredients, and zero harm to people and our world -- right through to the end of a product's useful life. We not only look at personal health, but what is also good for our wider society and environment. Tracey Bailey, Founder of Biome

A natural mozzie mist that actually works? Try Biome's Mozzie Mist

Biome Mozzie Mist is made for more than just mozzies, with a carefully chosen blend of essential oils that flies and midges hate too!

Ideal to have on hand for your Easter long weekend gatherings or camping trips.

Happy customer Angie, appreciated it on their camping trip👇

"The mozzies were a bother after recent rain and hot humid conditions. This spray saved us… as well as neighbouring campers who were drawn by the scent. You should probably buy two bottles…. One for your use and one for all those who come to find out what that amazingly beautiful scent is!"

With Easter just around the corner, it's has us thinking about all things crafty!
Whether you're decorating an Easter parade hat, some wooden eggs or just need something to keep the little ones entertained, there something for you at Biome.

We love this nature inspired craft from Eco Art and Craft. Using their natural paints, paint swatches for the kids to find colour matches out in nature.

🚗 Road tripping? Don’t forget the waste free snacks!

Save these for the school/Easter holidays!

1. Have a plan including one that might help you clean out the pantry before you go on holidays

2. Bake up some delicious treats and pop them in the freezer so they stay fresh while traveling. You could also make your own hummus or pop some popcorn

3. Switch the plastic wrap for a reusable wax wrap (they can even be folded into snack pouches)

4. Recycle and compost when you can or bring scraps home with you to compost later

5. Avoid buying individually packaged items like yogurt and biscuits. Instead buy in bulk and pop into reusable containers, pouches and wraps. An insulated bag with a cool brick can help keep them cool. And don’t forget the reusable water bottle.

What are your favourite waste free road trip snacks?

The perfect reusable plates & cups for your camping mess kit! ⛺️

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ "These are surprisingly sturdy yet light. They’re also easy to clean and the colours are very fun. I will definitely be buying more"

✅️ Made from recycled milk jugs that are safe for food contact
✅️ Stackable designs for easy storage
✅️ BPA, PVC, melamine, and surface coating free

We believe in supporting products made from recycled plastic because without a profitable end use the plastics we put into our kerbside recycling bins will still end up in landfill. We especially support the manufacturing being done in the country where your waste is produced, and in Australia, the USA, and Europe where the claims can be scrutinised.

Pyjamas for Easter, loved all year round!

Pjs are a popular gift for Easter. Instead of themed pyjamas that might get worn once or twice, why not choose quality organic cotton ones they’ll wear all year round.

Love from happy customers 👇

“We’ve been using Organic Nights pjs for years. Our girls love having matching designs. So soft and comfortable, and I love the cute design” - Franziska

“They actually like to wear them (fussy) and the would make a perfect gift as they come in a cute bag, organic cotton and priced affordably” - Kezia

You’ve heard of the 5 Rs — refuse, reduce, reuse (repair), recycle and rot. But what do they actually look like when you’re camping? 🏕️👇

Here's some questions to keep in mind when you're prepping for your trip...

💬 Can I refuse unnecessary packaging?
Skip individually wrapped snacks, say no to excess packaging, and choose items that can be recycled.

💬 How can I reduce the amount of packaging you bring?
Pre-organise meals at home (think meals in a jar) to cut down on extra packaging at the campsite.

💬 What can I store food without single-use waste?
Choose reusable jars, storage containers and food wraps to store foods

💬 Do I have a plan for recycling when I can?
Sort and recycle wherever facilities are available.

💬 What about food scraps?
Separate your compost whenever possible or bring them home if you have a compost

Save this and share to inspire others to tread lightly on their next camping trip.

Don't forget to pack the wire pegs into your camping gear! 🏕️

This review really got us thinking about all the useful ways they could be used. "Great for Camping! We use ours to secure tarp, hang up the washing and to keep food fresh"

A peg hanger is also a convenient way to hang wet swimmers, tea towels, dish clothes, hats etc.
