If you saw this ABC news article, remember:
1. Problems are more likely to occur when the treating practitioner has very little experience or understanding of the products
2. Problems are more likely to arise if you abuse the products, overuse, using big volumes unnecessarily - you spend more money to get complications
3. Good results often need multimodal treatment methods - injectables in moderation + energy based devices + biostimulation in moderation
4. Don’t follow “hype”, be guided by science and logic, be educated, so you won’t waste money on things that don’t work.
5. Everything has risks - a good doctor or nurse do what he or she can to lower those risks.
6. There’s no miracle injections, no “Hokey Pokey machines”, no magic creams that’ll solve your problems. Each treatment, whether it’s a little bit of collagen stimulation, or laser, to influence the blood vessels or break up that pigment, work by logic and science.

Be guided by someone with good intentions, not marketing scams.

Skin cancer is not picky - it doesn’t care if you’re sunbathing in Bali or just mowing the lawn in Brisbane. The good news? You can outsmart it. If you notice a growing lesion, a new lesion, new pigmentation, changes in any lesions or moles, remember to get it checked or biopsied. This lesion looked and smelled like a skin cancer, we did an excisional biopsy as soon as we could with adequate margins. Don’t wait and let a lesion grow, it’ll only make the surgery more difficult

A few tips if you are using estrogen patches. Forgot to add each brand of patch use a different adhesives, so if you think you’re allergic to adhesive to 1 brand, you can absolutely try another brand. The only issue with patches is the patch shortages.
