Through this partnership, we’ll deliver workshops 👩‍🏫, webinars 💻 and podcasts 🎧 designed to make fertility knowledge practical and accessible for athletes. However, it goes far beyond education.

We’re introducing a new fertility health check program, providing Australia’s elite netballers with access to comprehensive fertility assessments, including a pelvic ultrasound and an AMH (Anti-Müllerian Hormone) blood test 🩺🩸

In a first-of-its-kind national partnership, we’ve teamed up with the Australian Netball Players' Association (ANPA) to empower elite netball players by providing them with fertility education 👩‍🏫 and free fertility health checks 🩺

Why?
Because fertility isn’t just a “later” conversation.

Because understanding conditions like PCOS or endometriosis early can shape your future choices.

Meet Dr Sunthra Lingam, a dedicated fertility specialist and gynaecologist at our Cairns clinic 👋

Over the past 17 years, Dr Lingam has gained extensive experience across the full spectrum of fertility care, including gynaecological imaging, complex infertility cases, and male infertility.

His practice is grounded in empathy and individualised care - qualities shaped by his own personal experience with fertility treatment. This unique perspective allows him to support patients with compassion and a deeper understanding of their fertility journey 💜

Celebrating our Cairns embryologist, Yulia, who presented her research at the PSRM 2025 Conference in Malaysia 👏

Yulia’s study explored how choosing the right fertilisation method (IVF or ICSI) can reduce the risk of fertilisation failure and improve outcomes for patients 🔬

In her research, both methods were used within the same patient’s cycle (half of the eggs were fertilised with IVF and half with ICSI) to minimise the risk of fertilisation failure, and the results were promising. Well done Yulia!
