A new Temple…

To everyone who’s stepped into the temple with me this year — thank you.
It’s been a season of deep, therapeutic work: nervous system recalibration, trauma resolution, and transformation that begins at the body’s core.

And from June, I’ll be offering Devotional Ta***ic Bodywork sessions every Friday at the beautiful studio in Holland Park.
This space is peaceful, lush, and welcoming — and I can’t wait for you to experience it!

This shift also reflects a more intentional pace in my practice — as I focus on balance, restoration, and giving from a deeply nourished place.

After 6 beautiful years… we’re moving temples!

Our beloved Fortitude Valley studio has held thousands of sessions, deep transformations, wild grief & pleasure, healing & growth. It’s where Devotional Bodywork was born — and where so many of you met yourselves in entirely new ways.

As the work has evolved, so too has the space it’s asking for.

✨ I’m delighted to share that Devotional Bodywork is now partnering with in Holland Park — a soft, sacred, suburban studio that reflects the depth and intimacy we offer.

Starting June, Ashleigh will be offering 1:1 Devotional Ta***ic Bodywork for men and women at Neshima. She continues to bring deep integrity, care, and magic to every session she gives.

Every body holds the potential for pleasure and or****ic states. However, what I’ve observed in my own personal journey - and with many clients - is that sneaky subconscious beliefs like, “Pleasure isn’t available to me,” “I’ve never really felt pleasure in my body,” “I don’t think I’m capable of orgasming,” “or “Something must be wrong with me” etc. often linger quietly beneath the surface; alongside the inability to even imagine the possibility of pleasure... and the body complies.

If the mind can’t imagine the possibility of pleasure, the body often struggles to access it. It’s as though the mind says, “Pleasure isn’t available/ possible/ safe/ deserved,” and the body follows that command. The mind needs to come on board to support the body as a Gatekeeper for Pleasure.

When the mind begins to entertain the idea that pleasure is possible, it opens the door for the body to follow. I often guide clients to use their imagination to create a new blueprint for their body. Where attention goes, energy flows... the mind creates neural pathways and “sensation maps” or “pleasure labyrinths” that make it easier for the body to access and expand these states over time.

♾️ Mind Merging with Matter ♾️

I’ve seen clients go from feeling numb or disconnected to begin to feel deep aliveness and experience waves of sensation simply because their mind opened (which can happen in an instant) to imagine and allow the possibility of pleasure/sensation/relaxation etc.

It’s the same thing when I’m practicing Qi Gong or dancing, I visualise energy flowing through specific meridians or gathering in areas of my body, and my body begins to respond. When a client visualises pleasure or sensation in a specific part of their body, they are essentially guiding energy to that area, often beginning to feel sensations emerge in the body, even if they hadn’t been there before.

Allow yourself to imagine what pleasure could feel like. Even if it’s faint or abstract at first, the act of imagining creates a roadmap for the body to follow. Over time, thoughts become a reality manifest in the body. The body walking where the mind has dared to wander.

Over the last 9 years, I’ve been on a transformative journey—embracing my feminine essence, integrating my light and shadow, and discovering the freedom that comes with full self-acceptance.

Through feminine embodiment, sensual dance, ta**ra and devotional bodywork, I’ve deepened my connection to the divine within my body. This journey has taught me that the path to wholeness is about embracing all of who we are, and I feel so grateful to hold space for others who are navigating their own unique paths.

My word for 2024 was Simplicity. Throughout the year things that were holding complexity in my life shed away.

A total reconfiguration of the DBW business structure, my relationships, and lifestyle distilled into more and more simplicity, creating a spaciousness I have been craving my entire life!

A spaciousness I didn’t even know what to do with.

Because there actually was no-thing to do!

My practice became a surrender to just being — less and less, more and more. The urges, the momentum, the impulses, to fix, make better, be more, get more, slowly dissolving. Practicing Receiving. Accepting. Slow Pleasure. The ecstasy of life within and without.

Just be with the body. Love the body. Be Love. Be. Love.

It’s finally from this place of deep, deep nourishment that I find myself delighting in service from a wellspring of overflow.

It is my wish that every woman and man can be deeply nourished by life, to serve, create, and love from a place of overflow. ✨✨✨

If 10 years ago someone had told me that I’d be going on a journey of discovery into myself, understanding my beliefs, uncovering my desires and pleasures – and that it would lead me to becoming an apprentice practitioner of devotional ta***ic bodywork in my 40’s – I’m not sure if I would have laughed or just stared in shock! Back then, I could never have imagined the incredible opportunities that are now open to me.
 Let me introduce myself to you properly….
I’m Sia. I am passionate, confident and curious. I love authenticity and playfulness and I’m always open to new experiences and exploration. Connection is important to me and part of who I am.
People tell me they feel safe with me. For me, that feels huge. To be a space where people can surrender, be vulnerable and open – wow, what a precious gift!
 Is it because I’m a mum? Is it because I accept the dark parts of myself? Maybe it’s that I’ve been through some traumatic and intense experiences in my life. Or that I’ve gone on my own journey of self discovery and exploration. I think it’s a combination of all of those things. And maybe I should have guessed that this was my path!
 When I first heard the words sacred and devotional, it felt out of reach for me – like something mystical and inexplicable that I couldn’t get unless I was enlightened and super spiritual. But as I’ve progressed through training and started working with clients, I’ve come to a beautiful realisation. Devotional and Sacred experiences are available to all of us, especially when we focus on intention and presence. Seems simple, right? And yet being present and intentional is not something I have perfected, nor do I think I ever will! It’s just something I will continually remind myself to come back to – and that’s ok.
 I think that’s the beauty of this work for me. That wherever we’re at, whatever we’re feeling, whatever is coming up for us – it’s ok. And not only is it ok, but it’s the very core of what we’re doing – accepting what is, in that moment.
 So that’s a little glimpse into me, the new apprentice at Devotional Bodywork. I’m so excited to meet more of you and to welcome you into the Temple.

In November I celebrated 12 months as a DBW practitioner and I couldn’t be more happy and proud of the depth we have experienced in sessions together this year.

There have been SOOOO many beautiful, transformational, awe inspiring moments. Someone asked me recently “What has been your favourite session this year” and I honestly couldn’t choose! A flood of beautiful moments and memories crossed my mind, each one so unique and special in the way it moved me.

It’s one of the aspects I love so much about this work - that no 2 sessions are the same.
Every single person, every single body and story is unique. The way profound transformation moves through one person, can look entirely different in the next.

Working with the soma and spirit feels like a well of never ending possibility. Offering continuous ways to learn, grow and discover new aspects/parts/depth of the human experience.

I really do thank everyone who shows up, (sometimes despite a lot of vulnerability!) and commits to this journey INto themselves. As I have expressed to many of you this year, it is such an honour to support you and witness the glorious unfurling of your power and essence.

I’m ending this year in an intimate mentorship container with Manakua Bodywork (Sammy and Ahren) and it feels like such a nourishing way to complete 2024. Learning new techniques and deepening my understanding of the human system as a whole. I’m really excited to start the new year with a heap of inspiration and freshness.
From the deepest place in my heart, THANK YOU to everyone I have met and journeyed with in sessions this year. From those who step in for just a taste, to my wonderful inspiring regulars who I have had the absolute pleasure of journeying deeply with across weeks and months, each and every one of you has continued to the overwhelming gratitude I am feeling ending this *big* and truly beautiful year.

I’m looking forward to a spacious time with family over Christmas and new years and coming back into sessions energised and ready for the magick that is already brewing for 2025.

It’s with warm hands and full heart that I reflect on 2024…

A time of simplifying,
relaxing and releasing more and more,
into Beingness with Life.

Finding “My Beauty Way” (as my teacher would say),
in Love & Devotion,
to my body, home, beloved, and my work.

It has been a satisfying, purifying, and tenderising time.

And I’m so grateful I got to share this with many of YOU throughout the year!

My body has morphed, changed, and transformed in many ways,
healing, aging, softening, and radiating life and love more than ever before.

I’m noticing the less I do, and the more I surrender to just “Be”,
in my sessions and in life…

(It sounds so simple, and it is! Yet this has been a huge journey for me as a bodyworker, and in life),

…the wisdom and intelligence of my body, of life, communicates with the wisdom and intelligence of YOUR body, through life, and they always know what to do (or rather be!) to rebalance, and reconnect with, the goodness of being alive.

It’s been AMAZING to witness your courageous journeys this year - to touch your bodies, to embrace your pleasure and pain.

I am honoured to touch bodies and souls in this way. I am honoured I’m surrounded by others who too, feel privileged to be in communion with bodies in this way.

I am grateful for your trust in us, with your most vulnerable parts.

I am grateful for those who choose to invest in themselves this way, showing up in Devotion to your Body, to Love, to your Sexuality as Sacred.

Mmmmm… these ripple effects in the world! ✨✨✨
I feel blessed to have had my beautiful sanctuary of a home and studio in Paddington for the past 2 years, allowing me to be in service in such a deep devotional and intimate way.

And as the year closes, I am in the process of packing, saying goodbye to my home, and transitioning through the merging of worlds, with beloved, stepson, and our boxer Oscar.

I’m excited for this new chapter and for what 2025 has to bring! We have some things brewing within the DBW Team… and personally, my inspiration for, and joy in, working with couples is PEAKING!! I’m really looking forward to journeying with more couples in 2025!!
