The Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) rating is a vital system used across Australia to assess how much risk a property faces from ember attack, radiant heat, and direct flame contact during a bushfire.

💡 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀?
Your rating helps determine the construction requirements needed to protect your home as outlined in the Australian Standard.🏡

🛠 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲'𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀:
1. Your property is assessed and given a BAL rating (from BAL-LOW to BAL-FZ).
2. Based on that rating, the Standard AS3959 outlines what 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀, 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 are acceptable for that level of risk.
3. Builders, designers, and product manufacturers (like Weepa) then work to ensure compliance with the specific requirements for each BAL level.
