Symptoms of Postnatal Depression & Anxiety (PNDA) can vary greatly from person to person. Just as we are all unique and individual, so too are our experiences with mental health. Our experiences can look and feel very differently, and there's no "one box fits all".

However, this list are the more common symptoms. You don't need to tick all of them, however if you are feeling a number of these things than it is important that you reach out and have a chat to someone you feel safe discussing your mental health with. Your GP is a great starting point 🙂

For what it is worth, when I finally reached out to my GP for a diagnosis of PND, I ticked every single one of these symptoms (yes, I left it too long to ask for help!). But here I stand today living a life that I am proud of. The struggle is real, but you CAN and WILL feel better. Reach out, seek help 👍

Hi everyone, our mental health first aid and other courses are on hold for now, we are well and cant wait to relaunch our valuable face to face courses in the future.
Why not break the boredom and learn new skills. You could do the MHFA for the Workplace e-learning course at home to upskill to support the mental health issues likely to happen during and post pandemic. We have codes to get you going. When you are able you can attend the 4 hour face to face and become accredited. Contact us on admin@mhtraining.com.au for more information.
