The Shanty Men by Monte Lupo

The Shanty Men celebrate tradition, community, and the enduring power of song. Rooted in maritime shanty singing, these interactive sculptures invite visitors to sit and experience sailors' rhymes and stories. Each piece blends visual art and sound to create a multisensory experience. Honoring maritime history, they offer a contemporary gathering space where people of all ages connect through music. The Shanty Men foster unity, resilience, and collective energy, reminding us of the strength found in sharing songs across generations.

Exciting news! Some of the Doggos from last weekend's workshop are now out of the kiln and ready for collection. If you spot your dog in the photo, it's all set for you to pick up, and the remaining dogs will be kiln-fired and ready tomorrow.
