Dr. Peerbaccus has further honed his skills by participating in esteemed training programs worldwide, including the Bariatric Endoscopy Masterclass in Strasbourg, France, the Hopkins International Therapeutic Endoscopy Course at Johns Hopkins University, USA, and endoscopy ultrasound training in Montreal, Canada. He also performs endoscopically placed gastric balloon for weight loss, including its patient care package. His research interests span a wide range of topics including discomfort management during colonoscopy, achalasia utilising high resolution manometry, reviewing indications for capsule endoscopy, managing obscure bleeding post-capsule endoscopy, microscopic colitis, ERCP procedures during pregnancy, index gastroscopy within ethnic minorities in South Auckland New Zealand, and chronic cough and reflux disease.
