New Episode Alert! This was an emotional chat for me, but so wonderful.

Episode 51 of What In The NDIS podcast, I caught up with Shamika from Spectrum Services to chat about teen mental health, q***r identities, the social media ban for under 16's, and most importantly the amazing group program being offered by Shamika and Spectrum. Episode 50! It's a two Hannah episode! I love that Hannah Dewick was the guest for such an occasion.

As we celebrate 50 episodes of What In The NDIS Now? we discussed the brilliant platform: Connector Co. Connector Co is the first and only real-time booking platform for scheduling allied health supports, and it's free to access for participants, carers and support coordinators.

Most of us use HotDoc or something similar to book our appointments with a GP, where you can easily find a suitable practitioner, see their availability, and book, however here in the world of NDIS, the process has been laborious and frustrating experience, but not anymore! Connector Co brings that same speed and ease of use to finding and booking allied health appointments and we could not be more thrilled to hear more about it on today's episode.

On this episode Samuel Rosenbaum and I are joined by Michelle Massey from Amplify Accessible Travel Specialists about the importance of respite and the recent changes to STA. This episode was recorded a while ago, so we now know more about the final form of these changes. We wanted to release the episode anyway because we love Michelle's passion and there is still plenty of useful and relevant information especially about how the changes impact participants and providers in this space.
