I’ll be trialling Monday arv/evenings to give you more of a chance to book in for your bodywork… romiromi, remedial, sports or pregnancy.

I feel there is a need for extra night so if you love starting the week feeling reset and balanced and aligned, this one’s for you!

Atarangi Muru is my O.G. kaiako (teacher) and an executive producer for this film.

She speaks to Romiromi and features alongside other tohunga in their respective fields. It is a beautiful and knowledgeable watch sharing matauranga Maori.

YOUNG ATHLETES 💪🏽✨

It is a privilege to be trusted with my client’s children. This is Sienna, the 12yr old daughter of one of my O.G. clients and now friend. I was massaging Leesa well before her twins were even thought of and now I get to align Sienna too 😍

Sienna has taken up AFL and is loving it however what comes with learning a new code is a new way of using the body. More jumping, kicking, defending and running.

She came in with right leg quad and knee pain. That tells me her hips are out of alignment due to the kicking and jumping. I showed this to her Mama therefore she took the photos for Sienna and you all to see - photo credits 🙌🏽✨

I really enjoy working with kids, I’ll have either young athletes that are committed to excelling…and they do excel 🤩 or I have children with ADHD, on the spectrum or have other special capabilities, these children will have more energy work with limited physical touch. I love that I can help all with their own specific need.

ROMI ROMI - WHAT IS IT?

Romi Romi is a Maori healing bodywork that brings you into balance. It aligns you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

I know that sounds like a tag line that is over used but Romi will do this for you. To bring balance we need to remove what is unbalanced, remove what has been suppressed, denied, ignored…

All my reviews are very honest and I appreciate this. They will speak of the pain that is experienced. I will find where it is and draw it out therefore you will feel what you’ve been suppressing.

This is the release and then the feeling of calmness and peace follows, balance! This is all done within a very safe space.

So apparently, a session with me is phenomenal. And no, I didn’t write that myself 😂

Having a Romi is like having a deep tissue massage for your soul bringing everything back into alignment. Clients come in stressed, low, and energetically scrambled like an egg at a Sunday brunch… and leave floating out the door like enlightened clouds! 😍🙌🏽

If you want to be unscrambled and feel like smooth silk come on in… your energy blockages should probably start packing. 😉

I’m truly grateful for all my reviews. They give you an insight for what to expect. It’s not always love and light it can be pain and anguish… but once that is released, you’ll feel bliss and euphoria! 🤍🤩 Peace.

REMEDIAL VS ROMI = S*X = Getting your Mojo back!

Whether it is romi or remedial, I want to find the cause of your pain. With remedial I’ll find the physical cause and then remedy the cause and its effect.

With romi I’ll find the cause but this is done energetically and it will generally turn up in past trauma or emotional suppression. I am then able to remedy it energetically, emotionally, mentally and physically therefore affect genuine healing.

When all these factors are connected and cleared, mojo is returned, balanced and lifted.

Romi is straight to the point which balances ALL of you. Remedial is good too but it is only dealing with one aspect of you, the physical. When you understand that you are more than just the physical then we can do more 😉

KANUKA ORA

How the new name evolved…

Through building a relationship with the rakau Kānuka. As you all know I went back to Aotearoa to study Rongoa Maori and one aspect of it was plant medicine.

Learning the healing properties of our native plants and how to traditionally use them and make them into balms, tincture, tea, oil, etc.

Her properties are antibacterial, anti fungal, anti inflammatory and a muscle and joint relaxant. Perfect for bodywork. She is both strong and soft - balance. I feel this is an essential element addressed within every Romi session. Finding each client’s balance of strength and softness.

Lastly, to carry on a part of my father’s legacy. He was a talented musician and wanted to have one last band called Kānuka before he passed… but it never came to be.
