Every year, events like this remind us why we love being part of the Brisbane community. We were so happy to support the St Peters Lutheran College Ladies Lunch this year - and even happier to hear that Sahar took home our prize. We hope you love it!

Thank you to the St Peters team for a beautiful afternoon. 🌸

What to Expect:
Skin becomes thinner, drier, and more prone to sensitivity. You may see more pronounced wrinkles, sagging, or changes in pigmentation. Post-menopausal skin often experiences reduced oil production and slower wound healing.

What to Do:
✅ Use rich, nourishing moisturisers with ceramides and emollients.
✅ Keep using sunscreen to prevent further UV-related damage.
✅ Introduce or maintain antioxidants to support skin resilience.
✅ Regular skin checks are important to monitor for actinic damage or changes.

Consult a dermatologist to safely explore rejuvenation treatments suited to mature skin.

Maintaining Skin Health:
Skin can remain healthy and radiant at every age. The goal isn’t to erase ageing it’s to support your skin’s natural changes with care and respect.

What to Expect:
Skin cell turnover slows down further, and you may see deeper lines, dullness, uneven skin tone or sagging. Hormonal changes (perimenopause) can also affect skin texture and hydration.

What to Do:
✅ Exfoliate gently (AHAs like lactic or glycolic acid can help).
✅ Use barrier-supporting ingredients like niacinamide and ceramides.
✅ Maintain retinoid use if tolerated.
✅ In-clinic treatments like laser, LED therapy, or chemical peels help support collagen and reduce pigmentation.

Maintaining Skin Health:
Support both the surface and deeper layers of your skin. Continue SPF daily and prioritise hydration and barrier repair.
