IT'S BLOOD TEST REVIEW TIME!

Send your recent blood tests to me for review and I'll write up a current Script for 2025 - $69.95.

1. Especially good for those on health maintenance programmes or if I only see you occasionally - even if you've fallen off track for a while 🙂
2. Get your bloods done through your GP, scan them to me, let me review them and tweak your current Script to better suit where your body is at.
3. I will email back your new Script and you can order what you need.
4. If you are going to take nutrients for your health then lets make sure they are the most targeted ones and they are absorbing otherwise you are wasting time and money.

As you all know - just being inside the broad guidelines on your blood tests results doesn't mean you are healthy - despite what your GP might say. There are optimal levels for your chemistry to be at for ideal health. I can check these levels to make sure you achieve the best health possible.

Your gut is called your 'second brain'.

Remember the old saying - 'garbage in - garbage out'. That applies to garbage food in - garbage behaviour out!

ADHD is directly related to the food/nutrition we eat. (ADD less so)

The gut influences the production and regulation of many neurotransmitters.

ADHD might not actually be a brain chemical issue in your child, it could be a food chemical issue.

Read the GAPS Diet book - you will be amazed and inspired by the changes you will see.

Your digestive system continues to be the common link to more and more diseases.

Here - a bacteria found in the mouth of those with gum disease, has been shown to colonize the brain and drive Alzheimers Disease progression.

Fix your gut - mouth to a**s!!! 💪😎

Emerging research suggests that Alzheimer’s disease may be linked to an unexpected culprit — gum disease.

A study discovered the presence of Porphyromonas gingivalis, a bacteria responsible for chronic periodontitis, in the brains of deceased Alzheimer’s patients.

Researchers found that when mice were infected with the bacteria, it colonized their brains and triggered the production of amyloid beta, a protein commonly associated with Alzheimer’s. This evidence strengthens the hypothesis that the disease could have infectious origins rather than being solely a neurodegenerative disorder.

The study also revealed that toxic enzymes from the bacteria were present in individuals who had Alzheimer's-related brain changes but had not yet been diagnosed with dementia, suggesting the infection may begin years before symptoms appear.

This discovery opens the door to new potential treatments. A pharmaceutical company, Cortexyme, developed a compound called COR388, which showed promise in reducing both bacterial infection and amyloid beta accumulation in animal trials. While human trials are needed to confirm its effectiveness, the study underscores the importance of oral hygiene in brain health. Scientists remain cautiously optimistic, emphasizing that with no new dementia treatments in over 15 years, investigating all possible causes is crucial. While more research is needed, the link between gum disease and Alzheimer’s highlights a simple yet vital message: taking care of your teeth might help protect your brain in the long run.

It's been known for thousands of year - Music literally has the power to heal.

Scientists at the Instituto de Biofísica Carlos Chagas Filho, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, are investigating a unique approach to cancer treatment — music.

The research team exposed both healthy and cancerous cells to different musical compositions. Amazingly, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 was found to destroy about 20% of cancer cells while leaving healthy cells untouched.

A similar effect was noted with György Ligeti’s Atmosphères, while Mozart’s Sonata for Two Pianos showed no impact. The researchers believe that certain elements of music, such as rhythm and frequency, might play a crucial role in these effects.

I wonder what effect would be seen from listening to heavy or thrash metal...........🤪😵‍💫

Research shows a high-magnesium diet could slow brain aging and lower dementia risk.

A study from the Australian National University shows that increased magnesium intake may help protect against age-related brain decline, particularly benefiting women.

Researchers analyzed data from over 6,000 participants aged 40–73, tracking their dietary magnesium consumption and its effects on brain volume and white matter lesions. Those consuming more than 550 mg of magnesium daily had brains appearing nearly a year younger by age 55 compared to those with lower intake.

The study also found that postmenopausal women experienced the greatest neuroprotective benefits, possibly due to magnesium’s anti-inflammatory properties.

Magnesium, found in foods like leafy greens, nuts, seeds, legumes, and whole grains, has long been known for its health benefits, but this research highlights its potential role in dementia prevention. With no cure for dementia, experts stress the importance of dietary strategies for brain health.

Study co-author Dr. Erin Walsh emphasizes the need for further research to confirm these findings and inform public health recommendations. Given the rising global prevalence of dementia, this study underscores the importance of modifiable lifestyle factors in reducing cognitive decline and promoting long-term brain health.

Our Story

Specialising in Anti-Ageing, Longevity and Preventative Medicine for 27 years.

I still remember being bought a Science Kit when I was seven years old and spending hours looking down the little Microscope - exploring the inner workings of bugs and looking at the little veins in leaves. Who would have thought that 40 years later, I would be still looking down the lens of a Dark Field Microscope and analysing peoples blood cells!

Health is NOT good luck! It is a series of conscious decisions made over many decades - building good muscle mass, eating nutritious foods, taking the right nutrients for your cells, getting adequate sleep, laughing and loving everyday with our friends and families. Doing this year in and year out. The key is targeted supplementation and a motivating mentor keeping you focused on your plan.

Our job is to determine, through specific testing, what Nutrients you need to take, educate and inspire you to live healthily and to research all the ways we can extend out our life expectancy. Instead of dying from a preventable disease at 80 years of age - how about being active, pain free, clear eyed and still travelling the world at 100?! Impossible you say? That’s not what Science is telling us!
