Cocoon SDA Care is proud to have been the Gold Sponsor of the Women's Power of Inspiration (WPI) Annual Fashion Gala 2025. Witnessing the power of fashion in healing and bringing women together was truly inspiring. Thank you, WPI, for your dedication to the community.

Senator Paul Scarr at his seventh event on Saturday 12th April was joined by Fiona Simpson MP – Member for Maroochydore and Minister for Multiculturalism in Queensland, Rotarian Cyprien Ntezimana, Lester Drew representing the major event sponsor Cocoon SDA Care along with three beautiful fashion models.

Senator Scarr congratulated one of his favourite organisations in Queensland, Women’s Power of Inspiration, for another immensely successful fundraising dinner including musical performances and, of course, a wonderful fashion parade! Women’s Power of Inspiration provides an opportunity to women and girls to come together and make beautiful fashion. Thereby, they can heal from the trauma so many have suffered. Paul thanks them for all they do for the community

This week, our National Project Manager Lester proudly represented Mr Zaffar Khan and Cocoon SDA Care at an exclusive boardroom dinner hosted by Piper Alderman and convened by Hon Luke Howarth, Federal Member for Petrie.

Joined by 30 leading business professionals, the evening featured Hon Jarrod Bleijie, Queensland Deputy Premier, who shared valuable insights on the 2032 Olympic Games planning and regional development. Lester also raised Cocoon’s concerns about infrastructure charges impacting affordable housing—an important message well received.

A big thank you to the organisers and Minister Bleijie for his generosity and open dialogue. We’re proud to be part of conversations that shape the future of Queensland.

Horizon SolSolutions Australia Pty Ltd trading as Cocoon Group Services was established in 2013. Initially our business built retirement and nursing homes for the aged, and since 2017 with the rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), we have progressively built many Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) & SIL (Non SDA) housing around Australia, and we continue to build to this day.

Cocoon Group NDIS Services is an Approved NDIS Accommodation Provider.

Our specialty is building homes in well located areas of Australia. We have a small team consisting of our Board of Directors (Management Team) and our Housing Co-ordinator who assists with matching Participants for our SiL (Non SDA) and SDA homes. We also have an in-house Designer and a number of staff in all states of Australia to assist with inspections as well as our dedicated team of builders.

We pride ourselves in building in areas of high demand and where Participants would want to live. The locations of our homes are close to all amenities, medical precincts, transport and business hubs in both regional and metropolitan areas of Australia.
