At First In Feet we use 3D custom Paromed EVA Orthotics!

These can be used to treat a variety of conditions, such as ankle, knee or hip pain!

Using 3D laser scanning we are able to tailor the design of the insert to your specific gait patterns and foot structure!

Podiatry is an essential service and our clinic sessions are continuing as normal. All necessary infection control measures are being carried out to provide a safe environment for you.

Podiatry is still considered an Essential Service

As of Today, Monday March 23, the APodA can confirm that Australian podiatrists are not required to stop practicing as a part of the services shut down announced by the government overnight. The ApodA in line with the AHPPC recognises the importance of a nationally consistent approach to measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19, and we encourage podiatrists to consider how they will manage their practice in line with this in the days ahead.

We will be providing further updates throughout the day as information comes to hand as well as more resources to support podiatrists.

The majority of lower limb complaints/injuries we see are what’s termed “soft tissue injuries” (muscles, ligaments, tendons etc) which require a thorough rehabilitation program to resolve completely.

The first phase of soft tissue rehabilitation is rest/reduction in aggravating activity plus appropriate stretching.

This exercises strengthens the muscles located with the soles of our feet. Very helpful in getting rid of that stubborn heel pain!

The first phase of soft tissue rehabilitation is rest/reduction in aggravating activity plus appropriate stretching.

This exercise works to "release" tight constrictions within the plantar fascia.

The first phase of soft tissue rehabilitation is rest/reduction in aggravating activity plus appropriate stretching.

This great exercise works as a "self-mobilization" exercise to reduce joint stiffness within the foot.

Phoebe had previously spent a year in the USA on a college Basketball scholarship and has worked for the Asics footwear company giving her a great insight into the demands we place on our bodies and the importance of wearing the correct footwear.
