A fun Social Rec today in Southbank! 🌇🌉

We looked through the GOMA, museum and checked out an awesome car exhibit at the state library. 🎨🖌️🖼️ 🏎️🦖🦕

Lunch by the river and caught up with a few folk from Stepping Stone South. Was really great to meet new people, and eat lunch by the river! 🏞️🥪

Last week we had our first NEST program session with Chloe from OzHarvest.
We started with trivia testing our knowledge about healthy eating. We learned what food went into different sections of the Australian guide to healthy eating.
We divided into groups. 1 group made chicken/ tofu stir fry and the other group made watermelon 🍉 pizza 🍕
At the end we got to eat what we cooked. It was easy, healthy & yummy

Holey moly!!
what a great day we had at Holy moley Chermside where we all had a chance to have a put around 18 holes ⛳️ some of us even got a hole in one.
We then had lunch at Marchant park where we all played uno and frisbee.
Finished the day enjoying a nice ice cream at Icy Spicy 🌶️

To our team at Stepping Stone North, these are the words we used to describe 2026. You can see from these words 2026 is looking especially bright for our Clubhouse. 🌞🎉

We had a great turn out to our Calendar Planning meeting today, 🙌 where we sat down and planned what events and important dates we wanted to celebrate or acknowledge - side by side members and staff.🫸🫷 Our diary is looking super exciting and very full, with members and staff looking forward to a very rewarding 2026.

A special thank you for our wonderful Nourish unit, who provided us with some great snacks to keep our energy up throughout the morning.😋🍉🍓🥖🍇

✨ ✨ We’re feeling incredibly grateful for the generous Christmas Party & Christmas🎄 Day catering from Pure Catering. Their kindness filled the room with smiles and gratitude — and plenty of happy, full bellies — as everyone enjoyed celebrating with friends and family. ❤️

A huge thank you to Trent Dalton for connecting us with such an amazing organisation.
We truly appreciate all of your support. 🙏

Today's social recreation saw us go to the spring hill Centennial pool, where we all enjoyed the nice cooling water, spending time chatting, relaxing and swimming.

Tash - it was lovely swimming on a summers day!

Matthew Relaxing in the water, swimming some laps, having a barbecue and going for a walk with everyone and enjoying having a relaxing time

JSN- JSN enjoyed cooking the BBQ for everyone and it was a great all on all.

Scotty- eating food and swimming

Eve - I enjoyed spending time with everyone and having great chats.

What a fantastic social recreation we had today at clubhouse; we sang, ate and played instruments; and wrote an awesome poem / song; 🎶🎼🎵🎤🎸🥁🎹

There was a great turnout by our members and we all enjoyed each others company! 😊🌻🧀

While annual reports are by nature statistical documents, we view these numbers differently. Each figure represents real people who've have walked through our doors. Whether that is through participating in the work-ordered day, working in in a Transitional Employment position, answering a survey to provide evidence of the impact of our model or working tirelessly on developing our Reconciliation Plan, it’s members’ story that is the heart of our Clubhouses. When you read this report, we hope you can picture our members and all their amazing achievements.

Thank you to everyone who played a part in bringing our mission to life over the past year. Your dedication and teamwork continue to make a real difference. 🙏🎉

Stepping Stone North celebrated one year in March and has gone from strength to strength working with new members, engaging with the Northside community and businesses and hosting many meetings and events.

Another fun Social Rec today!

A relaxing picnic in a surprisingly cool summers day at Kalinga Park on Clayfield, feasting on some delicious Christmas Day leftovers 🎄🥙🥗🍗

We played Uno and went for a walk around the parkland 🚶‍♂️🥾🧩🃏

At the end of the day, we finished up by getting some yummy Ice Cream 🍦🍨!!!!

🎄 ✨ Christmas lunch magic at Stepping Stone North ✨🎄

Today we shared a beautiful Christmas lunch filled with connection, community and plenty of festive cheer 🩵

A huge thank you to our wonderful supporters who helped make this day so special - Lord Mayor's Charitable Trust, Trent Dalton author and QBD Books. Your generosity truly made this day possible 🙏

We enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal by Pure Catering including confit chicken, honey mustard shaved ham, green bean and heirloom tomato salad , the most amazing potato salad and fresh bread rolls. Yum! 😍

There was Christmas music 🎶, some fun (but hard!) Christmas trivia, lots of laughs and everyone went home with a festive goody bag 🎁

A special shout out to Bart Mellish MP who also popped in with some very yummy chocolates 🍫 - thank you 🙏

Stepping Stone North would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday period.🎄

🥗We will be open tomorrow to share a lovely lunch on Christmas Day 10:30am-2:30pm and closed Boxing Day.

Re-opening again on Saturday for a picnic together at Kalinga Park. 10:00am - 3:00pm ⚽🧺

🎉 We’d like to make a huge shout out to Will and his team at Rode meats who have so kindly and generously donated 2 Christmas leg hams to our Clubhouse for our members this Christmas 🎄🎅

We are so appreciative and will thoroughly enjoy them.
