20 minute brisk walk and a legs circuit tonight!

Although I've lost all my strength, I'm thoroughly enjoying taking it easy and just working out from the comfort of my own home.

Today consisted of dessert after dessert with their being a dessert bar at work. Now I don't want to blame my lack of self control on pregnancy, but that's the story Im going with. However, I still came home and busted me a** in another tabata session. Trying to focus on 3 weight sessions per week and a walk every other day. Today I did both! Altering my exercises now as some things are getting uncomfortable to do. I can't pretend like my diet has been amazing because hormones and cravings are not a good combination (I swear my partner thinks I'm the devil at times) but for the most part I'm doing my best to ensure my body is getting the nutrients it needs. Happy Thursday y'all ✌🏽️

Love working out from the comfort of my own home. Although work absorbed all my energy I still found motivation to get in a good sweat. This Tabata leg workout had me dripping with sweat this afternoon. 20 seconds on 10 seconds off - 5 rounds. Exercises include:
• Ladder jump squats
• Dead lifts
• Kettle bell swings
• Weighted lunges
I then followed through with an arm workout and a 20 minute walk. Running is getting too uncomfortable, not that I even enjoyed it anyway, so no loss there. I much prefer to get my cardio in with a HIIT (high intensity interval training) session! As for weights, I'm lifting half as much as I used to pre-pregnancy focusing on trying to keep toned for now rather than gaining muscle. Feeling much better than I did before this workout! 🙌🏽

You may notice I have been a little MIA lately. All for a good reason. For the past 16 weeks I've been incubating human life, which has meant giving up some of the things I love to do. I've taken a break from Bootcamps and training others to help focus on keeping myself fit and healthy during this pregnancy. HIIT - high intensity interval training. The benefits of this type of training are amazing. Did you know, you can burn more calories in a 15 minute HIIT session than you can running on a treadmill for 1 hour. Other benefits of HIIT include:
