We are currently seeking Casual Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants living in the community with domestic assistance, personal hygiene support, transportation and social/emotional support.
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
-Support NDIS participants living in their own private home to help them maintain their independence and improve their social & daily living skills.
-Participants require support from Monday to Friday & occasional weekends.
-Low intensity supports to assist participants to live independently.
-Supports include domestic assistance, meal preparation, medication assistance (prompting), transportation and support with personal hygiene care (toileting, showering, feeding etc.)
-Providing companionship and social support.
WHAT YOU NEED:
-Australian Driver's License
-First Aid Certificate with current CPR
-NDIS Worker Screening Check for paid employment
-Working with Children Check (Blue Card) for paid employment
-National Police Check (obtained within the last 6 months or willing to apply)
-Reliable smart phone with data
-Must have Reliable Transport
