The Gap Yoga Leanne is a Senior yoga teacher with Yoga Australia and has taught Yoga since 1988.

She trained originally with the Sivananda Vedanta Yoga Academy in India and continues Yoga studies in India and Australia in the tradition of Krishnamacharya . Currently she is a Yoga teacher, Yoga teacher trainer and an AAYT registered Yoga Therapist. Leanne has a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture and practices Traditional Chinese Medicine, body-work and Ayurveda alongside her work with Yoga and is a member of Australian Traditional Medicine Society. Leanne is interested in utilizing and integrating the traditional principles of yoga into a personalized experience for each student.

Eight Flowers of the Divine Yoga Retreat

Friday August 23 from 3pm- Sunday 25 until 2pm, 2024

Relax into the end of winter with a Yoga retreat inspired by the “ Ashtavidham Puspam” mantra .

This mantra reminds us of eight qualities of our own nature that we can cultivate towards lasting peacefulness.

While nature provides us with flowers for external offering we also possess these eight internal flowers of our heart and mind that we can offer endlessly to all of life.

Over the weekend we will integrate asana , pranayama , relaxation, bhavana, mantra , Vedic chanting, meditation and thoughtful dialogues to gently bring attention to these enlightening aspects of ourself.

As always there will be plenty of free time to enjoy delicious food from James , cosy up by the fire , walk in nature or take time for yourself.
